Kai'Ros House
A children's home in Kumasi, Ghana

Kumasi is a city of two million people in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. It is not a metaphor. It is where parentless children from the Offinso region found a home at Kai'Ros House.
It began with seven children. It now cares for twenty-two, ages four to sixteen, and pays the wages of seven caregivers who feed them, take them to school, and sit up with them when they are sick. Pastor Tave Close and his wife Heather have partnered with Pastor Otchere Boachie and his wife Mercy to build a home for children in need.
Every one of these children came to us from a hard story. What they have now is a bed, three meals, a uniform, a school across the road, and grown-ups who love them and pray for them by name.
Summit Bible Center supports this work. Gifts given here are received by Summit, a 501(c)(3) organization, and go to the care of these children.
What they need most: a home of their own. The house they live in now is rented, expensive, and not as safe as it should be. They need school fees, and medical care when a child is sick, and one day a small van — every Sunday they hire a tricycle to get to church.
Pray for them. And if you would give, we will tell you exactly where it went.

Kumasi, Ghana
Walk the campus we are building
Kai’Ros House began two years ago with seven children. Today it is home to twenty-two, with seven caregivers who raise them. The land ahead of us is one hundred acres — a school, a clinic, a farm, and room to grow. You can walk the plan yourself, acre by acre.
Thinking of coming?
You will not be singled out, you will not be asked for money, and nobody will telephone you afterwards unless you ask them to.
