The Beliefs That Drive Us

II Corinthians 6:2

We believe the time Is now!

“For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

Hebrews 10:25

We believe that community is more than Sunday mornings.

” Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

Philippians 2:13

We believe in doing whatever it takes, not just what we can.

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”

Acts 1:8

We believe that our love for God is demonstrated in sharing his son’s story.

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Deuteronomy 8:18

We believe financial freedom is available to God’s people..

“But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”

Genesis 1:28

We believe that God’s plan for family is further reaching than modern day culture defines.

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

Romans 14:10-12

We believe that we will stand before Christ one day and give an account, so we believe in preparing.

“But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.”
“For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.”
“So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”

Romans 12:2

We believe that God has preferences, purposes and plans for each of us and it is our responsibility to pursue him and discover those for ourselves.

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Joshua 23:10

We believe in pursuing God together.

“One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the Lord your God, he it is that fighteth for you, as he hath promised you.”

We believe knowledge without application leads to arrogance which is ineffectual for His kingdom.

“Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.”

Psalm 90:17

We believe in working like it depends on us (it does) and praying like it depends on God (it does).

“And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.”

Luke 9:50

We believe in being known for what we are for, not what we are against.
